Today’s Work-in-progress

This morning I finished two bowls that I’ve been working on for the past week.

8” x 1 3/4” maple bowl for a customer.

6” x 1.25” Hemlock. Outside diameter is 9”. It is available for sale.

Next up is an over-sized meat cleaver made from a section of an old commercial sawblade. This one took quite a while to get everything all together. But I’m pleased with how it turned out. It has a handle length of 12.25” and a 9” x 6” blade

It is for sale here.

Someone from the Farmers Market recently got in touch. Sheasked me to make a fleshing tool for her partner. Here’s the first couple steps taken in the process.
