A 16” log filled with antholes destined for the woodpile caught my eye. It was so rotten I could have pulled the wood apart with my hands. A perfect specimen for some coloured epoxy to stabilize it I thought. So I cut the log in half, put the pieces in a mold, filled them with coloured epoxy, set each in the pressure pot for a few days, and then turned them on the lathe after it had finished curing.
Dimensions: 6 1/2” wide x 6 1/4” tall
